Location: Birmingham, Alabama

Description: The University of Alabama Birmingham, located in Downtown Birmingham, is an internationally renowned, public doctoral research university and academic health center. Working with UAB was a pleasure, and we were so glad they were pleased with the outcome of this project. After some renovations had been made, UAB wanted to do something about the painted concrete blocks that lined a well-used hallway. They were in need of a solution, so we designed and produced 89 4×8-foot panels that we glued, bolted, and framed with J channel up both sides of the hall. In case of damage or desire for a new look, UAB can change out these panels easily with new, updated panels.
