ALGX staff adds CSI and CDT designation
As part of ALGX's commitment to on-going professional training, we are proud to announce that four of our team members have completed CSI and CDT training.
Acount Executives Marlon Ford and Michele Dunn, Document Managment Coordinator Jason Turner and VP Systems & Onsite Services Jimmy Sims and have completed the training offered by The Construction Specifications Institute (CSI).
The Construction Documents Technology (CDT) Program provides a comprehensive overview for anyone who writes, interprets, enforces, or manages construction documents. Project architects, contractors, contract administrators, material suppliers, and manufacturers’ representatives are all realizing the advantages of being Construction Documents Technologists.
CSI was founded in March 1948 by the specification writers of government agencies who came together to improve the quality of construction specifications. The Institute’s efforts were essential in improving construction specification quality so that it could meet the demands of the post-war construction boom. Development of specifications best practices, promulgating standards/formats, professional education, and certification were cornerstones of the Institute.
